Tim Mai has been investing since 2002. He has mentored others (including Doug Smith), although he doesn't do it anymore. He has found a new venue for his knowledge. A for-profit, online Real Estate Investment Association - one that aims to reach investors nationwide. Tim believes he has mastered the art of generating leads. He doesn't mind telling you how he does it. However, he still believes that investors will join his association to take the leads he generates for them. We have known Tim for several years and have been impressed with both the sheer volume and size of his past investments. We get the sense that he buys and sells well, but has not kept a lot of property. Starting a new association shows that he is looking to own something for the long-term, not just flip houses. His (and wife Frances') attempt at owning a brokerage didn't pan out. We will track his progress. Tim provided us with this information:
Real estate investor for 3.5 years. My wife, Frances and I, are owner of both All Cash Home Buyers and RE/MAX Great Estates. I've bought over 312 investment properties including vacant lots and single family houses. I specialize in wholesaling but have also done lots of rehabs, subject to, pre-foreclosure and short sales.
